Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis for children ages 3 through eighth grades. When maximum enrollment is reached, a waiting list will be made according to the date of application and receipt of the registration fee. If a child is not yet 3 but enrolled in the St. John Lutheran Preschool Program and will turn 3 on or before September 30, they are eligible to use the Tiger's Den the first day of the school year Pre-school age children MUST be potty trained. All registering children are expected to be toilet trained before the preschool-age program.
 

The following forms need to be completed and on file at our center before your child will be admitted to our program.

  1. Child Enrollment and Health Information
  2. Custody Papers (if applicable)
  3. Emergency Medical Card
  4. Medical/Physical Care Plan or a Request for Administration of Medication (if applicable)
  5. Child’s Medical Statement (Pre-school Only) ( 30 days to complete after enrollment)
  6. Dental Exam Form (recommendation for Pre-school Only)
  7. Special Permissions Form/Handbook agreement

Staff/Child Ratios & Maximum Group Size

St. John Lutheran Preschool and Tiger’s Den Christian Childcare will not exceed the following state-required ratios:

  • 1:12 Preschool-age (3 years – 4 years)
  • 1:14 Preschool-age (4 years until eligible for kindergarten)
  • 1:18 School age (eligible for school)
  • The maximum group sizes are as follows:
  • 14 3-5 years olds
  • 18 School-age children
